Inner Greta?
My Inner Gaza
Commuting from Yamamba-land
to Joyoda this morning,
I couldn't hep but wonder
if today would be
a day of
my inner Greta
or of
my inner Gaza
I certainly felt something had been stolen
as I left the house
and saw the car engine
warming up
Ready to take my son
and his mates
to Keio
(not to shop, but)
to study
Economical
(not environmental)
Matters
So today my Inner Gaza emerged
And soon after I was
Queue-Jumped
By one canny crone
as I left Babylon;
And then I was Shove-Pushed
By a feisty fox
alighting the Joyoda
Impatient and craven
Both carried
Brand-Name-Bags.
If today
my Inner Greta
had been on show,
I would have just
taken it as a sign
of bad manners
And preserved my Energy
But she was asleep
and They Deserved a Response
So my Inner Gaza
Awakened
